Antique Mantle Shelf Clock Cherub With Bird France, Late 1800s - Early 1900s

Not much known about this French Ormolu style clock...I've looked high and low for information and turned up nothing. The cast is very clean and detailed. The clock does not work but is marked: PATENTED MAY.3.1890 DEC.23.1890 JAN.13.1891. Face is marked ENDURA ALARM MADE IN FRANCE. I'm not sure the movement or clock face are original. There is a wooden spacer under the flange of the clock back. I don't think this was factory equipment. This is still a very nice piece for display. There are some scratches and rubs throughout. I did not find any cracks. The bottom opening has a couple of chipped edges.
